Does anyone have a good (tried it yourself) cheesecake pancake recipe?
I’d like a recipe similar to IHOP’s cheesecake pancakes, but not one that has cottage cheese as an ingredient. Please only post if you have tried it yourself with success. Thanks!
Something that uses Bisquick pancake mix as a base would be ideal.. I’ve tried making pancakes from scratch and nothing beats Bisquick.

Beat about 3-4 Tbsp. of cream cheese in with the liquid you are using for your pancakes.Continue with rest of ingredients and cook on a flat grill.I also make sure I add vanilla.
I also like to whip cream cheese with a little cream and sugar and pour over the top, them top with strawberries…

    iHop cheesecake pancakes recipe?
Does anybody know the recipe for the normal iHop cheesecake pancakes? Or something similar?

And I’m talking about the normal cheesecake pancakes with little chunks inside the pancake, not the stackers with the cream cheese/cheesecake smushed inbetween some pancakes. I can’t seem to find the recipe anywhere. Just for these sandwich type ones. :(

    Thanks!

Those were on the yahoo homepage on the top 10 “Grossest Foods” But either way they still looked delicious!

You could simply get your favorite pancake batter, then simply make a cheesecake, which is really simple:

      Ingredients:
      1/4 cup butter or margarine
      1 cup graham cracker crumbs(about 12 squares)
      2 tablespoons sugar

      Filling:
      1 package(8 oz.) cream cheese
      1/3 cup sugar
      1 egg
      1 tablespoon lemon juice

      Topping:
      1 cup sour cream
      3 tablespoons sugar
      Directions:
      1. Microwave butter in 8-inch round glass baking dish 1/2 to 1 minute or until melted. Stir in crumbs and sugar. Press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of dish.

      2. Microwave cream cheese for filling in glass mixing bowl 1/2 to 3/4 minute or until softened. Beat in sugar and egg. Blend in lemon juice. Pour into crust.

      3. Microwave, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes or until set around edges, rotating dish once.

      4. Combine sour cream and sugar for topping. Spoon over cheesecake, spreading to cover.

      5. Microwave, uncovered, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until topping is heated. Cool. Refrigerate until served.

      6 to 8 servings.
“A delicious , creamy-textured cheesecake. Serve plain, or if desired, top with sweetened fruit.”

And then cut them in small pieces or just break it off, after it’s been in the fridge for a while, mixing it into the pancake batter and then just make the pancakes!

Enjoy your cheesecake pancakes :) .

      IHOP Original Pancake House Recipies

      1 1/4 cups flour
      1 egg
      1 1/4 cups buttermilk
      1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder — heaping
      1 teaspoon baking soda
      1/4 cup cooking oil
      pinch of salt
      cooking spray

Preheat skillet over medium heat. Use pan with nonstick surface and apply pam spray. In blender or with mixer, combine all ingredients until smooth. Pour batter by spoonfuls onto the hot pan, forming 5 inch circles. When edges appear to harden, flip the pancakes. They should be golden brown. Cook on other side. Makes 8 pancakes.

Serving Ideas : serve with good syrup and fruit

IHOP HARVEST GRAIN & NUT PANCAKES

      Waffle Mix
      7 3/4 C. all-purpose flour
      1 1/8 C. Quaker quick oatmeal
      1 1/2 C. whole wheat flour
      3 1/2 C. corn meal
      l C. wheat bran
      3/4 C. granulated sugar
      2 C. finely chopped pecans
      5 3/4 T. baking powder
      2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
      2 1/3 T. dry malt
      1 3/4 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container. Dry malt is available from home-brew stores or “scratch” bagel bakeries.

      Waffle/Pancake Batter
      1 3/4 C. buttermilk (use 2+ cups for pancakes!)
      2 extra-large eggs
      2 C. above Waffle Mix
      2 tsp. vanilla extract
      6 T. butter
      1 tsp. water

Put buttermilk in bowl and whisk in eggs. Whisk in Harvest Grain waffle mix. Melt butter in microwave with 1 teaspoon of water and whisk into batter.

      IHOP SWEDISH PANCAKES

      1 1/2 cups sifted flour
      1 tbsp. sugar
      1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten until very light
      1 cup milk, divided use
      1/2 cup cream (or milk)
      2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 cups lingonberry sauce (I use red currant jelly)
      Confectioner’s sugar

Then sift together the flour, sugar and salt; set aside.

Combine the eggs and half the milk. Fold in flour mixture then add remaining milk, cream and butter. If consistency is too thick, add more milk.

Using a hot griddle, ladle the batter onto the griddle creating a 5-6 inch diameter. These pancakes are thin and will only need a minute or two on each side.

Place 2 tablespoons of lingonberry (Swedish cranberries) sauce on center of pancake and roll up like jelly roll. Serve sprinkled with confectioner’s sugar

    IHOP lemon pancake recipe?
I had IHOP’s Lemon-berry pancakes over the summer, when they did the tie-in with Despicable Me. The pancakes were awesome, and they had a triple-berry compote (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry). I have been craving them all day, but I can’t find the recipe anywhere! Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
